A simulated example to show how AI assistants weigh information when choosing businesses. Real answers vary by platform and change over time.
What AI looks for
The signals that get home services recommended
AI assistants compare what they can find about you against the question. These are the details that tip the answer in your favor.
A service-area list that names every town you actually cover
Emergency and after-hours availability stated the same way everywhere
Reviews that mention the job (“water heater”, “hail damage”, “AC repair”) and the town
Licensing, insurance and warranty details AI can quote
What we do
Get Recommended by AI.
AI assistants don't rank ten websites. They read what's written about your business across the web, decide who fits the question, and recommend a few names. If your information is thin, inconsistent or hard to read, you get skipped, even if you're the best option in Iowa.
We fix that. AEO gives AI systems clean facts, clear answers and trusted third-party proof, so they can recommend you with confidence.
We ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews the questions your customers ask, then show you who gets named, how you're described, and why.
Entity & Listing Cleanup
AI pulls facts from Google, Bing, Apple Maps, Yelp and industry directories. We make your name, hours, services and details consistent everywhere it looks.
Answer-Ready Content
Service pages, FAQs and structured data that answer real customer questions in plain language, so AI has something specific to quote.
Citations & Reviews
Mentions in local press, guides and directories AI trusts, plus a review process that gets customers describing what you do best.
Locations
Serving businesses across Iowa
Four home markets, plus the towns around them. We know which questions people ask AI in each one.
Why does AI recommend some contractors and not others?
AI looks for a clear match between the request (“furnace repair in Ankeny this weekend”) and the facts it can find. Contractors with consistent listings, a named service area and reviews that describe the work get picked first.
Should I have a page for every town I serve?
Pages for your main towns help, as long as each one is genuinely useful: the services you offer there, response times and local projects. Thin copy-and-paste pages don't help.
Does Google Business Profile still matter?
Very much. Google AI Overviews and Gemini lean heavily on Google's own business data, and other assistants pull from Bing, Apple Maps and Yelp. We clean up all of them.
